Card Of The Day!

Sometimes you've just got to "Spread Your Wings and Fly!"

The image for this card was created from ink, paint and vintage paper. A reproduction is mounted on 80 lb recycled card stock.

You can find this card for sale in my Etsy shop with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.

What will you do today? Will you take the initiative to make necessary changes in your life? Will you spread your wings? I'd love to hear about it.

Have a great day everybody, thanks for stopping by.

Card Of The Day!

Fall is my favorite time of year! The temperature is just right and I love the color of the leaves. When I'm out and about I often pick up leaves and bring them home. I know that sounds crazy because there are plenty to pick up in my own driveway but I never seem to select those.

For this card I took three of those coveted leaves and scanned them. Then I added some filters in Photoshop. You can find this card for sale in my Etsy shop.

Have a great day everybody, thanks for stopping by.

Card Of The Day

The image for this card is a reproduction of a painting I did, Untitled #121. When I first started painting I didn't like to title my paintings, as a matter of fact...I still don't!

You can find this card for sale in our Etsy shop or on our website. Have a great day everybody, thanks for stopping by.

Card Of The Day

The image for this card is a reproduction of the second painting I ever did. I was off work recovering from a back injury and decided to start painting as a form of therapy. You can find this card on our website or in our Etsy shop.

Have a great day everybody, thanks for stopping by.

Card Of The Day

After 10 years of painting I took a painting class a few years. We did an exercise where we were given three pieces of paper, one each of grey, white and black. We were instructed to make collages out of the paper and then the class had to vote on which of our collages they liked best. The collage getting the most votes was the one we were instructed to paint. I however cannot see only black, white and grey so this is what I came up with. A reproduction is mounted on green card stock. You can find it for sale in our Etsy shop.

Have a great day everybody, thanks for stopping by.
